OpenAI’s Jev clone could help the frontier lab stop its swarming agents

OpenAI released a limited preview of its Decisions API at Dev Day, letting the Luna model quickly and cheaply make classification or agent behavior choices from predefined options—functionality similar to Jev, released this month by TypeSafe AI. "System One" decision models like Jev can review each agent action and monitor similar Hugging Face events; using Jev costs about $2.94 versus $372 for a frontier LLM.
