Improving the academic workflow: Introducing two AI agents for better figures and peer review

Google Research launched two academic agent frameworks: PaperVizAgent (formerly PaperBanana) generates publication-ready scholarly figures from paper text, while ScholarPeer automatically produces literature-grounded review reports with summaries and strengths and weaknesses.
