Grounding AI agents in biological reality: Building blocks for autonomous wet labs
Google Research released the VERID framework, connecting AI agents to wet labs via semantic digital twins of lab workcells. It offers four capabilities: real-time 3D state tracking, virtual dry runs, hardware safety checks, and synchronized video and action logs, built on the open-source PyLabRobot.
